Meet the Founder

I founded Tits Deep for Breast Cancer by total accident. I came up with the idea to sell stickers to help raise money for my bestie (and #1 powder day buddy), Nadine Fernandez who was diagnosed with Stage 3 TNBC. I thought, "I'll buy a box of stickers and raise a thousand bucks." In less than a week of fundraising (out of my snowboard jacket), I was taking backorders from all over the U.S. and abroad. In less than two months we raised over $11,000. That's when it hit me, I can make a difference in more people's lives if I turn this already growing community into something greater.

I have been impacted by breast cancer most of my life. When I was two years old, my mother passed away from Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. She was 33 years old. I have always felt the desire to be a part of the breast cancer community and to make a difference. When my best friend got diagnosed, I made a commitment to myself to do whatever I could to help her.

 

To honor both my mother's and Nadine's life, we at Tits Deep for Breast Cancer commit to raising awareness, advocating + educating, and fundraising for young women seeking breast cancer treatment.
